Upper North Shore BUSINESS CONNECT is an independent group of local business people, who meet weekly to develop and build referral opportunities for each other. The group primarily accepts one member from any particular business or employment category, with its goal to ultimately help each other to improve their bottom line, by increasing or improving their sales and profits. They do this by referring suitable clients or prospects who have a need for the member's service.
As a member of Upper North Shore Business Connect you will be provided with an opportunity to grow your business. We expect our members to be honest, supportive and reliable. Above all, we want people who are passionate and positive about what they do and are willing to share their experiences and knowledge.
Meetings are held weekly and by following a structured agenda the Members learn more about each other, helping to develop confidence in each other's ability to deliver a professional, reliable and ethical service to any referral that is passed. Members educate each other on a continual basis, and also meet, on a one to one basis outside of meetings to learn more about each other's business.
The structured agenda, includes a weekly presentation by one member, enabling them to further promote their business and an "ideal referral" to the members and Visitors present. The meetings start at 7:00 am with some open networking, followed by the Agenda and finish at 8:30 am.
Visitors are always welcome, where their business category is vacant, and they can continue to attend as they assess the value of membership. A weekly meeting fee applies to cover catering and room hire, and is payable on the day of attendance.
A small Membership Fee is applicable to cover the Group's administrative and marketing costs.
